CMX is a Finnish rock band known for lead singer and bass player A. W. Yrjänä's poetic lyrics of religious imagery and their progressive musical style that combines influences from e.g. Pixies, Helmet and Dead Kennedys. In later years they have also been heavily influenced by 1960s and 1970s progressive rock bands such as Yes, King Crimson, Rush and Pink Floyd.
